Google官方博客发布了《A New Approach to China》的文章，字面上没有把窗户纸捅破，但是明眼人都看得出来，就是在暗示中国政府的某些机构试图破解某些人权人士的Google帐号。

These attacks and the surveillance they have uncovered–combined with the attempts over the past year to further limit free speech on the web–have led us to conclude that we should review the feasibility of our business operations in China. We have decided we are no longer willing to continue censoring our results on Google.cn, and so over the next few weeks we will be discussing with the Chinese government the basis on which we could operate an unfiltered search engine within the law, if at all. We recognize that this may well mean having to shut down Google.cn, and potentially our offices in China.

Google决定放弃对Google.cn的搜索进行审查(censor)，也就是不会过滤敏感搜索结果，在中国，这将是一个自杀式的行为！Google也很清楚，这样意味着Google.cn服务将被关闭，Google在中国的那幢小楼也可能关门了。

有意思的是最后一段：

The decision to review our business operations in China has been incredibly hard, and we know that it will have potentially far-reaching consequences. We want to make clear that this move was driven by our executives in the United States, without the knowledge or involvement of our employees in China who have worked incredibly hard to make Google.cn the success it is today. We are committed to working responsibly to resolve the very difficult issues raised.

Google似乎想撇清，这个决定完全来自于总部，和Google中国员工没有关系，这是在保护中国员工吗？

我得说，这次Google真的是纯爷们！

Google保留了他不做恶的道德贞操，但是市场上这可能是一个巨大的错误。

百度在24小时之内经历了网站DNS被黑和主要竞争对手自废武功的大悲大喜，估计他们都要吃速效救心丸了。
